Originating from the renowned oolong-producing region of Anxi in Fujian, China, our Black Dragon tea boasts a unique character. Anxi oolongs are occasionally referred to as "Se Zhong," denoting a blend of several oolong varieties. The processing of this tea closely resembles that of the popular Tieguanyin oolong style.

Oolong teas exhibit a diverse range of flavors and colors, spanning from light green to dark. The color often reflects the level of oxidation in the tea leaves, with tea merchants frequently referring to specific oxidation percentages to indicate where on the spectrum their oolong falls. Low-oxidized (5% to 25%) teas tend to be more green in appearance.

Our Black Dragon oolong, on the other hand, is a somewhat darker variety, undergoing approximately 40% oxidation. The leaves are meticulously hand-rolled into small, compact pellets. When infused, these leaves unfold into their original state, revealing their true character and providing multiple infusions.

This handcrafted oolong tea boasts a toasted aroma, complemented by a sweet and robust grain-like aftertaste. Presented as loose leaf tea, the item package weighs 7.0 pounds.

The processing of oolong tea is a delicate and intricate art, requiring skilled craftsmanship to achieve the desired balance of flavor and aroma. Anxi, the renowned region where our Black Dragon tea originates, has long been celebrated for its exceptional oolong production.

Unlike the more commonly known green and black teas, oolong occupies a unique position in the tea spectrum. Partially oxidized, oolong teas exhibit a complexity that sets them apart, offering a broader range of sensory experiences for tea enthusiasts.

The unique characteristics of our Black Dragon oolong are a testament to the dedication and expertise of the tea producers in Anxi. Through a carefully controlled oxidation process, the leaves develop their signature toasted aroma and sweet, grain-like aftertaste, making this tea a truly captivating and enjoyable experience.

Whether you're a seasoned oolong connoisseur or exploring the world of tea for the first time, our Black Dragon oolong is sure to delight your senses and leave a lasting impression. Savor the depth and complexity of this handcrafted tea, and let it transport you to the verdant hills of Anxi, where the art of oolong production has been perfected over generations.
